Q: Do I have to pay to submit a nomination for the IASA Malaysia Business Technology Architecture Awards?

Answer: No payment fee is required to submit a nomination for the IASA Malaysia Business Technology Architecture Awards.

Q: Do I need to do anything else besides filling out and submitting the nomination form?

Answer: No, IASA Malaysia will inform you should there be a need to provide additional information or supporting documents for your submission.

Q: Can I submit nominations for more than one award category?

Answer: Yes, you can submit and participate in multiple award categories.

Q: Can a Malaysia registered company submit the nomination when EA is not implemented by Malaysia registered company?

Answer: Yes,  if the organisation that implemented the EA is either the parent or subsidiary company of Malaysia registered company.

Q: Can vendors or consultants submit nominations for their clients?

Answer: Yes, but a letter of authorisation by the client must be attached to the completed submission document.

Q: Will the information in the nomination submission be handled as confidential information? Will my company/organisation be informed if any information is used?

Answer: Yes, all information will be treated strictly confidential as per PDPA. IASA Malaysia will seek your approval before publishing any information.

Q: How do I know if my submission is submitted successfully?

Answer: You will receive a confirmation email upon your submission.

Q: Will there be an extension of the submission deadline?

Answer: Any extensions will be announced on the IASA APAC webpage.

Q: How are the winners selected?

Answer: A three-tier approach of judging and assessment is used to select the winners. You may refer to the Judging & Assessment section for more details.

Q: Will there be any follow-up articles on the winners’ submission?

Answer: IASA Malaysia will publish a summary of the winners’ submissions with commentaries on the reasons they win.

Q: Will there be an Awards ceremony?

Answer: Yes, the award ceremony will be on 20 October 2022.

Q: Can I win the IASA Malaysia Business Technology Architecture Awards two years in a row?

Answer: You can participate and win two years in a row but for a different category.

Q: Will I be notified if my submission does not win?

Answer: IASA Malaysia will announce the final outcomes via communication platforms. No separate emails will be sent to the participating companies unless they have been shortlisted or have won.

Q: How do I find out why my nomination is not selected for the Award?

Answer: IASA Malaysia will not provide individual explanations on why a nomination did not get selected.
